Little Vishnu painted in a series of Gods worshipped in India for a project in college. I mapped and juxtaposed particular Gods worshipped in various regions. Fun and fun fun.

Hi
Little Vishnu is quite wonderful. I liked his face most of all. The canopy - mukut- also has a nice arrangement of colours. YOUr colours are nice. Perhaps that's why I liked the face and I am glad it had just the blue.
I was a little confused about the two elongagted protrusions beneath the chin- An admixture of Ganesh here? Meaning the elephant tusk?

no, thats the conch that vishnu holds. i made little gods but only their heads, not whold bodies. so i had to have an element that distinguished them. therefore vishnu has the conch, krishna has the flute and the peacock feathers, etc.

frankly, i don't think you've really chewed on this one enough - not like your other images - its a bit of a mish mash - the face looks a bit out of the not so great great animation stuff doing the rounds these days and the conch shell in the doesn't work - sorry but you did ask for frank comments...actually the thing is- given the beauty of some of your other images, one expects more.
